CABLE WAKEBOARDING / CABLE SKIING

The purpose of this blog is to introduce the various sports and adventures you can find in Singapore. As Singapore is a small island, we have limited space for adventure and sports that requires large venue, for example baseball. Most Singaporeans are clueless about what kind of sports can be found on this tiny island.

Recently, Singapore has begun making use of its abundant water resources surrounding the island for water recreational activities. Water sports like Windsurfing and Sailing is becoming more popular among Singaporeans.

For this post, the sport we are introducing is
CABLE-WAKEBOARDING/SKIING!!

Cable-Wakeboarding or Cable-Skiing is the same as wakeboarding and skiing. The only difference is that Cable-Wakeboarding and Cable-Skiing uses the pull of a cable system instead of a speedboat.

Introducing Singapore's very own East Coast Seafood Centre!

The East Coast Seafood Centre (Chinese: 东海岸海鲜中心) is a tri-block food centre in East Coast Park, Singapore, best known for co-locating several major local seafood restaurants, including Jumbo Seafood and Long Beach Seafood Restaurant. Jumbo Seafood established its first and flagship oulet at the Centre in 1987, with the ability to seat up to 1,200 diners at a go. Some signature local dishes are served there amongst the various restaurants, in particular the chilli crab and the black pepper crab, the later of which is claimed to be invented by Long Beach Seafood Restaurant. Some of the restaurants even offer seaview dining!
